WUE UPDATE

Price Increases

For the past several months we have reported on the instability with pricing due to a number of reasons, primarily the steel shortage. In the last quarter, we have seen some stability start to surface. It is far to early to know if the trend will continue, but it is better news than we have had in the last year. It has been a difficult time for our end users and distributors.

We are pleased to announce our Open House date of August 17, 2005. Please plan to attend. There will be many exhibit booths to explore, and new products to see. More information will be forwarded to you in July.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN AUGUST.

SEFCOR Power Connectors

By Jennifer Gilbert

For the past few years WUE has been a distributor of SEFCOR Power Connectors. Since 1971, SEFCOR has built a reputation as a supplier of quality power connectors with short lead times at competitive prices. With sales offices located coast-to-coast, SEFCOR has quickly become one of the nation's leading suppliers of power connectors to the electric power industry.

SEFCOR power connectors are designed in accordance with the latest industry NEMA, and ANSI standards. Their patterns and molds are made under strict control in accordance to exacting standards, and are carefully tested, checked and inspected rigorously to insure conformance before production begins.

Fittings are produced by independent foundries highly skilled and specialized in the manufacture of aluminum and bronze castings. Casting inspection, machining, welding, and assembly are completed in their Griffin, Georgia facility. The power connectors are cleaned, brightened and prepared for shipment. All high-voltage fittings are buffed to a fine finish to insure corona-free operation. Final inspection is performed on 100% of all items prior to being released.
