WUE Update
To better serve and meet the needs of our many customers, WUE is expanding its outside storage capability by 30,000 sf. This will give us a total of 125,000 sf of concrete for inside and outside storage use. The construction is scheduled to be completed by mid July of this year.
Mark your calendars for September 5th and 6th. WUE will host an Open House and Vendor Display at our Brighton facility on September 5th.
On September 6th we will host our annual Customer Appreciation Golf Outing at Marianna Butte Golf Course in Loveland.

From our M3 Hookstick Disconnect Switch comes the high-conductivity copper blade, silver-plated at all contact areas. Stainless-steel back-up springs are used to maintain efficient current transfer between the stationary contact and the end of the blade. Terminal pads are NEMA two-hole, tin-plated high-conductivity copper, standard on many of our switches.
From our Type C-Polymer Cutout comes the ESP silicon-alloy rubber insulator, contributing several advantages over procelain counterparts: Lighter weight for simple installation, increased metal-to-metal leakage distances and far less fragile for reduced or eliminated losses from routine shipping, storage and handling.

Fiberglass cabinets with ground sleeves get a second look.
Look twice at a fiberglass two-piece sectionalizing cabinet and you see two things; a removable ground sleeve and a cabinet that are becoming more comparable in price to aluminum and other metal cabinets. Competitive pricing isn't the only thing these two-piece cabinets offer, the ground sleeve has ample cable training, the cabinet has functional mounting plates for a variety of junctions, and together they offer a rust free cable terminating solution.
What contractor doesn't appreciate the ability to remove the ground sleeve and install it in a construction zone. Go ahead and plow the cable underground, loop it, and wait. No worries about hitting the cabinet either, because it's not there until you need it. When you've finished your underground cable trenching and the construction is finished, come back and install the cabinet.
